Located in the heart of historic downtown Montgomery, Texas, RE/MAX Distinction is a locally owned and operated full service real estate brokerage. Founded in 2018, the brokerage specializes in residential real estate. RE/MAX Distinction's office is a renovated historic schoolhouse built in the early 1900s. The schoolhouse originally resided in Dobbin, Texas but was relocated to the heart of downtown Montgomery, Texas’ historic district in early 2000. The school was a representation of early times in our history as it served as a segregation school for African American children in the early 1900s. We are seeing tremendous growth in the Montgomery/Conroe area and an increasing demand for residential real estate. Many people want to be in the uncrowded scenic beauty of Montgomery county but still be minutes from shopping, entertainment and fine dining located around Lake Conroe and in The Woodlands. Due to this high demand, now is a great time to be in the business, and the RE/MAX Distinction team is looking forward to using their expertise and passion for real estate to help community members find their perfect place to live. Michelle Cannon, broker/owner of RE/MAX Distinction, has over 15 years experience in the real estate industry. Prior to becoming a broker, Michelle was an agent with RE/MAX and consistently ranked in the top percentage of agents in the state. She has over 8 years experience as a broker and before purchasing the RE/MAX franchise, she operated an independent brokerage in the Houston area and consistently ranked in the top 15% out of 3600 brokerages.
